When you complete a research study, you receive the reward outlined for that project. The amount and reward type vary, so check the study details before you agree to take part.
Conversations & interviews
For in-person research, including interviews in your home, payment is typically provided at the end of the study. For phone interviews or online discussion-based research, you receive a link to your digital reward—typically a Visa card—within up to 6 weeks.
Some studies offer a different type of reward. Your invitation, screening conversation, and project confirmation explain the reward before you agree to take part.
Online surveys
Online surveys earn Focus Forward Points, which you can check in your member account. Every 1,000 points equals $1. When your balance reaches 5,000 points, you can redeem those points for a $5 online Visa card.
Some projects send a separate reward rather than adding points to your account. These rewards may include cash, gift cards, gift baskets, or products, and will not appear in your points balance. You will know the reward before agreeing to participate. Separate project rewards can take up to six (6) weeks to arrive.
