What Is a Focus Group?
01A focus group is a discussion with about 6–10 people, led by a trained moderator. You share your thoughts about a product, service, idea, or advertising campaign and hear other participants’ perspectives. Focus groups take place in person or online.
Participants are rewarded for their time, often with a digital gift card. The project invitation explains the reward so you know what to expect before agreeing to participate.
